Born in Jaffa in 1911; attended Al-Amiriyyeh School in Jaffa; then moved to Cairo, where he studied at the AUC; returned to Palestine and joined the Law Institute in Jerusalem; opened a legal firm in Jaffa; served as Secretary for the Arab Lawyers’ Society in Jaffa; co-founder of the Arab Front and served as its Secretary; was elected as Secretary of the PNC during the PLO founding conference in Jerusalem in May 1964; member of the first PLO Exec. Committee established in Aug. 1964; died in Amman in February 1982.
