AHMAD ABDUL FATTAH DAOUD TUQAN

Birth: NULL/NULL/1903 Death:NULL/NULL/1981
Born in Nablus in 1903; received a BA in Civil Engineering from Beirut University in 1925 and an MA in Physics from Oxford University, UK, in 1931; worked as teacher, inspector and principal of The Teachers’ Training Institute in (Al-Khadouri Schools) in Tulkarem; then became Director of the Education Dept., chief inspector in Palestine, and Vice-Pres. of the Education Dept. until the end of the British Mandate in 1948; was appointed Minister of Development and Construction in the Jordanian Government in 1949; then Minister of Education; FM in 1966, Deputy PM, DM and PM in 1970; later served as Minister of the Royal Palace and as head of the Board of Trustees of the University of Jordan; died in 1981; was buried in the Jordanian Royal graveyards.
