Born in Arrabeh, near Jenin, in 1954; hen Jordan and a Palestinian entity; began work on an Emergency Assistance Program for the World Bank via PECDAR in 1994; serves as Deputy Director of PECDAR and as Pres. of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics; writes short stories; was assigned by PM Ahmed Qrei’a’s as his Chief Bureau Minister in 2004; approved by the PLC as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in the Qrei’a Cabinet on 16 Feb. 2005 (until the 2006 PLC elections).
