Born in Nablus in 1898; among the founders of the Arab cement factories in Nablus, The East Flights Ltd. in Jerusalem, Al-Yarmouk Taxis Ltd., the Palestinian Potassium Company, and the Haifa Cedar Company; among the first agents of Shell fuel company in Palestine; was involved in the transportation especially between Baghdad and Kuwait and to Saudi Arabia for the Haj (Muslim Pilgrimage); also worked on transporting Iranian and Coptic pilgrims to the Holy Land; is also remembered for his donations especially for education.
