Born in Nablus in 1934; received a Diploma in Psychology and Sociology from Ein Shams University, Egypt; was a founding member of the Palestinian Students Union in Cairo from 1959-62; received a BSc in Dentistry from Cairo University in 1964; specialized in Baghdad, Iraq; opened his private clinic in Nablus in 1964; member of the Palestinian Dentists’ Association, 1970-92; was a member of Nablus Municipality from 1976-82; active in the Ba’ath Party.
