Born in Nablus in 1934; son of Adel Zu’aiter; primary and secondary education in Nablus; went to Iraq to study Engineering at Baghdad University; left the university and worked as laborer in southern Iraq; first joined the Iraqi Communist Party, then Fateh in 1967; became Fateh representative in Rome; in 1970 worked on issues related to media and politics, and in 1971 in the Lybian Embassy then appointed as PLO representative in Rome; murdered in Rome by assassins believed to be from the Israeli Mossad on 17 Oct. 1972.
